Bright Star Development Society Balochistan (BSDSB) was established in October 1994 at Sub Tehsil Bala Nari Haji, Shaher, District Kachhi (Bolan) by the young professionals and volunteers of the area. Initially BSDSB was registered on August, 1995 as Voluntary Organization under the Voluntary Social welfare act 1961 and after than Organization was registered under Societies 1860 in January 2010 and reporting and implementing according to Societies Act 1860 roles and regulations.
Bright Star Development Society Balochistan (BSDSB) is a non profit, non political and local organization of Balochistan. BSDSB has been working for the last 15 year in Sibi, Kachhi (Bolan), Jhal Magsi, Naseerabad, Jaffarabad, Sohbatpur and Quetta Districts of Balochistan. BSDSB has been working in the sectors of Social Mobilization, Advocacy, Community Physical Infrastructures (CPI), Education, Health, Agriculture, Water & Sanitation, Emergencies, DRR, GBV and human rights. The promotion of traditional handicrafts and are sub sectors of our alternate livelihoods projects. BSDSB is proud to be one of the few local organizations working in southern Balochistan on the above mentioned projects, and considers social mobilization as the back bone of the organization, that forms an integral part of all its activities. BSDSB has a trained and committed board of directors, volunteers and staff, work since several years to achieve the Organizational Goal and objectives.
